Eamon Merrigan obtained defense verdicts as to all three plaintiffs in a Philadelphia County jury trial presided over by Judge Paul Panepinto. Each of the three plaintiffs alleged serious and permanent neck and back injuries which required approximately seven months of chiropractic treatment and physical therapy and recommendations for injections. Mr. Merrigan argued that the vehicles involved in the accident sustained little, if any damage, and that it is highly unlikely that three people of differing ages and body types sitting in different locations in the vehicle could have each sustained multiple similar injuries requiring the same treatment and testing. The jury agreed with Mr. Merrigan, and found no factual cause as to any of the plaintiffs’ injuries.
