Claire Neiger started the month off with a defense verdict in a general liability trial before Philadelphia Judge Annette Rizzo that involved a fall at a Philadelphia hospital resulting in serious injury. That same day, Kristine Meindl obtained a defense verdict in a Delaware County motor vehicle trial before Judge Christine Fizzano Cannon. In Montgomery County, Eamon Merrigan prevailed on a medical malpractice case tried before Judge Thomas P. Rodgers.
Richard Castagna, Matthew Moroney and Kristine Meindl each obtained defense verdicts in Philadelphia County motor vehicle cases. Mr. Castagna won his trial on liability and Ms. Meindl with a limited tort defense. Although Mr. Moroney conceded negligence, the jury did not find factual cause, resulting in a defense victory.
