In the first 18 weeks of the year, the GMR attorneys have collectively tried 16 cases to verdict. Of the 16 trials, 12 have resulted in defense verdicts. The majority of the defense verdicts were in Philadelphia and 2 were in Montgomery County. Matthew Moroney was responsible for 5 of the defense verdicts, with Eamon Merrigan a close second, obtaining 4 of the verdicts. Lori Miller, Kristine Meindl and Joseph Petka each had 1 defense verdict.
Matthew Moroney, Lori Miller, Eamon Merrigan and Claire Neiger tried 4 additional cases and achieved exceptional results for our clients. While these verdicts were not in favor of the defendants, the plaintiffs were only awarded portions of their economic damages and substantially less than the defendant’s settlement offers prior to trial.
