Lucille Bitterman obtained a defense verdict in a premises liability action involving a defendant hospital. The plaintiff alleged that she entered an elevator on defendant’s property and slipped and fell on liquid in the elevator floor causing her to sustain left knee and back injuries, including lumbar radiculopathy and lumbar bulging discs and cysts. Ms. Bitterman successfully argued that plaintiff failed to prove that defendant had actual or constructive notice of the alleged liquid.
