Partner Matt Moroney litigated this Philadelphia County matter which GMR settled for $450,000.  In this matter, our client was attending a public event when a security employee inappropriately grabbed his arm, which caused a spiral fracture of the mid-distal humeral shaft.  Without any wage loss or outstanding medical bills, we were able to obtain discovery that resulted in a $450,000 settlement. We utilized our experience as both a defense firm as well as counsel for plaintiffs to gain important evidence through depositions and the use of experts to achieve a substantial settlement for our client. Even though the defendants denied liability, the defendants substantially increased the settlement offer on the eve of trial, and we were able to resolve the matter with a favorable settlement for our client.
