First, a medical malpractice defense award in a failure to diagnose a congenital stroke condition against a Philadelphia family practice center and area hospital. Plaintiff’s demand was $3 million. The following week Claire obtained a defense verdict on a motor vehicle limited tort case in which the plaintiff alleged $60,000 in wage loss, herniated lumbar discs, a torn rotator cuff, and a torn medial meniscus. Plaintiff’s policy limit demand was countered with a significant offer to the plaintiff but rejected before trial.
