GMR Senior Associate Tom Giardina secured four verdicts following a week-long trial involving a high-speed, significant four-car motor vehicle accident on Interstate 95. Two of the Plaintiffs were admitted to the hospital for multiple days. All Plaintiffs presented with alleged permanent injuries, including spinal herniations, a shoulder tear, and a traumatic brain injury. Tom, via subpoenaed records of previous medical complaints, argued against causation. Ultimately, the jury found no causation regarding three of the Plaintiffs. The other Plaintiff was found not to have sustained a serious impairment of a body function.
