GMR Wins Jury Trial in Philadelphia on Liability

Who had the green light? GMR Senior Associate Tom Giardina won a Philadelphia County jury trial in which Plaintiff sued for uninsured motorist benefits claiming that the uninsured driver ran a red light striking her vehicle.  The uninsured driver testified that, to his recollection, Plaintiff ran a red light.  On damages, Plaintiff alleged that she left her employer due to the accident and sustained significant spinal injuries with radiculopathy.  Plaintiff’s treatment consisted of chiropractic care, epidural injections, and pain medication.  Ultimately, the jury concluded that Plaintiff did not meet her burden of proof on liability.
