After a 10-minute jury deliberation in Suffolk County, GMR Partner Dana Koos secured a defense verdict in a rear-end motor vehicle accident lawsuit where Plaintiff alleged multiple injuries, including the neck and back, for which the Plaintiff underwent epidural injections. Dana successfully discredited the Plaintiff’s treating chiropractor on cross-examination on various issues, including the unreliability of his records containing errors and misinformation. Additionally, the treating chiropractor had no independent recollection and testified based solely on this reports which did not include a history of prior accidents for which he treated the Plaintiff. As part of the defense, in addition to diminishing the Plaintiff’s credibility, Dana elicited testimony through an expert radiologist that the injuries alleged were not causally related to the accident
