Although the plaintiff suffered serious head and shoulder injuries after being hit by a car, Ms. Bitterman recently managed to pull out a defense verdict in front of a Philadelphia jury. The 20-year-old plaintiff was hit by a car on Limekiln Pike. The plaintiff was rushed to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with numerous facial lacerations, a fractured shoulder, and a concussion. However, Ms. Bitterman eloquently illustrated to the jury how plaintiff was actually at fault for the accident as he darted out into the street in between two parked cars. The jury ultimately found the plaintiff 95 percent at fault for the accident, rendering a defense victory for Ms. Bitterman.
