Akiva Abramowitz is an Associate Attorney at Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s New York office. His practice focuses on insurance defense, including no-fault insurance.
Akiva earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2024. While in law school, he took on leadership roles within his graduate community, serving as an Associate Research Editor for the Journal of Law & Policy and as President of the Health Law and Policy Association.
Alongside his extra-curricular involvement, Akiva interned at a medical malpractice defense litigation firm while in law school. He also served as a clinical student in the Community Development Clinic, providing counsel for non-profit community-based organizations, and for the Community Service Society of New York, where he advocated on behalf of healthcare consumers to gain access to services by appealing medical coverage denials.
Akiva’s educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yeshiva University. He furthered his studies by earning a Master of Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University.
Outside of his professional life, Akiva enjoys hiking in national parks and spending quality time with his nieces and nephews.
