Anzhelika is an associate at Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s Philadelphia office. Her practice focuses primarily on general liability, motor vehicle, and premises liability claims.
Before joining GMR, Anzhelika served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ramy I. Djerassi in the Commerce Court Program of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. At the Commerce Program, Anzhelika spent over two years unraveling complicated business-to-business disputes, including multi-party, multi-issue commercial insurance litigation matters. In this role, Anzhelika acquired superb attention to detail necessary to appreciate the true magnitude and complexity of sometimes deliberately obscured stories that lie behind every case.
Before Anzhelika was a law clerk, she advocated on behalf of disadvantaged seniors as an associate attorney at Senior Law Center, a non-profit legal organization in Philadelphia, PA. Thanks to this experience, Anzhelika understands the tactical significance of the human dimension in every legal story.
Anzhelika earned the combined J.D./MBA degree from Mercer University School of Law and received the Advanced Legal Writing, Research, & Drafting Certificate. Following her second year at law school, Anzhelika served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Anne E. Lazarus of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. At law school, Anzhelika was also a member of the trial advocacy team. Her team earned the right to compete in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the world’s largest and most prestigious moot court competition dedicated to international law.
Anzhelika was inspired to go to law school while tackling the problem of justice in law as an international student at American University, School of Public Affairs, where she earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice.
Besides practicing law, Anzhelika enjoys trying new vegan recipes and developing her own culinary masterpieces.
