Overview
Cory Bonk is a Senior Counsel in Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s Northern New Jersey office. His practice focuses primarily on automotive negligence and general liability claims.
Cory graduated from The College of New Jersey before earning his J.D. at Rutgers in Newark. Cory began work with a general practice firm handling municipal court and general litigation matters primarily around the Hudson County area. He also served as a law clerk in the Family Part of the Hudson County Superior Court for Judge Mark J. Nelson, J.S.C., working on matters under the “Children In Court” docket, including adoptions, custody, and abuse cases.
After his clerkship, he managed personal injury matters for a small firm in Hackensack, New Jersey, from inception to completion. He then transitioned to a Hudson County firm handling civil rights and employment discrimination cases and associated appellate work. Cory spent the past few years defending claims on behalf of a national insurance company. During that time, he successfully tried several cases to verdict.
When not practicing, Cory enjoys skiing in the winter and playing paintball with friends in the summer. As a side hobby, he builds and repairs computers for friends and family. He has attended the Raritan Valley Flight School near Princeton, New Jersey, working to obtain a private pilot license.
