Overview
Guy Brenner is an Associate Attorney at Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s New York office. His practice focuses on insurance, including first-party coverage and no-fault insurance.
Guy attended the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law graduating cum laude with two JDs in 2024. During law school, Guy actively engaged with his graduate community, competing on Detroit Mercy’s Moot Team, representing students in the Dual JD program as a member of the Windsor Student Law Association, and through the coordination and management of events as an executive member of the Windsor Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Alongside his extra-curricular involvement, prior to joining the firm Guy worked for a boutique civil litigation and real estate firm in Toronto. While at school, Guy externed for the Honorable Michelle R. Rick at the Michigan Court of Appeals. In addition, Guy was a student attorney at the University of Detroit Mercy’s International Intellectual Property and Patent law clinic, where he assisted indigent and low-income inventors with their patent claims and their applications before the United States Patent Office.
Guy’s educational foundation includes an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. During his undergraduate, Guy was heavily involved on campus through his fraternity’s philanthropic events, hosting monthly charity challenges, and yearly concerts featuring his fellow brothers to raise money for the local community.
Outside of his professional life, Guy is an avid reader and enjoys spending quality time with his fiancé, watching any and all sports, and learning about different cultures.
