Kayla Borowitz is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, including automotive negligence.

Kayla attended Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in May 2025. At Drexel, she was named to the Dean’s List and received CALI Awards for Best Student Performance in Litigation Drafting, Contract Drafting, and Mediation and Arbitration. She was also actively involved in Drexel’s moot court team, competing in the National 2024 Hennessy Competition, where her team won first place.

During law school, Kayla completed a judicial co-op with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She also engaged in pro bono work, representing clients in unemployment compensation matters before Pennsylvania’s Department of Labor and Industry. Alongside her legal studies, Kayla was the Secretary of Drexel Kline’s Jewish Law Students Association.

Kayla’s educational foundation began in Johannesburg, South Africa. There, she attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where she earned her B.A. in Law and Organizational Psychology with Distinction. She graduated in the top 6% of her class and was recognized for her academic achievement through several awards. Kayla has gained international experience through legal opportunities in South Africa, Israel, and the United States.

Outside of her professional life, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, being in nature, unwinding with a good TV show, and listening to 70s and 80s music.
