Luis J. Breyer is an associate with Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s New York office. His current practice focuses on litigation defense for automotive negligence, and other general liability matters.
In 2014, Luis graduated from Hobart William Smith Colleges with a degree in Political Science and a minor in American History. Luis next attended Vermont Law School on scholarship, and was actively involved in the student body including student government, the school-associated legal aid, and public speaking groups.
Deciding to root in his hometown, Luis has spent the past seven years as a lawyer in his local community as a litigator, with a focus on indigent legal services and Plaintiff’s personal injury work. Luis has also worked as a Federal Court Appellate brief writer and a Law Clerk for a Supreme Court Judge.
In his personal life, Luis enjoys watching his two favorite sports teams; the New York Giants and New York Knicks. He also enjoys playing disc golf, cooking, and going to the movies with his Fiancee.

Thomas Cooke is Senior Counsel for Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s New York office, where he specializes in insurance coverage matters. His practice includes first-party coverage, claim investigations, and no-fault litigation and arbitration. When he’s not practicing law, he is an avid reader and film enthusiast, particularly interested in suspense and horror genres, and a deep appreciation for the works of Stephen King.
