Overview
Zachary Cotter is an associate at Goldberg, Miller & Rubin. His practice focuses on medical malpractice cases. Zach concentrates on all phases of litigation including case evaluation, discovery, and trial preparation and uses his knowledge and experience to provide the most competent representation for his clients.
Prior to joining GMR, Zach worked as a judicial clerk in the chambers of Judge Michael E. Erdos in the First District of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia Civil Division and a Summer Associate at a mid-sized Insurance Defense firm in Philadelphia. These experiences exposed Zach to a wide variety of litigation issues and developed his problem-solving skills and laid the groundwork for his career as a litigator.
He previously earned a B.A. in Political Science, with honors, from Lehigh University in 2022, and received his J.D. from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2025. While in law school, Zach competed on and served as the President for Drexel Kline’s nationally ranked Trial Team. In his two-year tenure, Zach won a national championship, was named a semi-finalist twice, and earned an award for Best Closing Argument.
Outside his professional life, Zach enjoys spending time with his friends, reading, playing, and talking about sports. Zach is a big Philly sports fan who also watches a lot of college sports, including field hockey, lacrosse, and softball.
