Warren Holland obtained a defense verdict in a Philadelphia County jury trial arising from a rear-end motor vehicle accident. The plaintiff alleged serious neck and back injuries which required approximately five months of chiropractic and physical therapy. After conceding liability, Mr. Holland successfully convinced the jury that the plaintiff’s alleged injuries were not caused by the defendant’s negligent conduct. Mr. Holland highlighted the plaintiff’s history of prior similar injuries and impeached the plaintiff’s credibility by noting inconsistencies in the plaintiff’s testimony and medical records. The jury ultimately found that the plaintiff failed to present any credible evidence of injury and entered a verdict for the defendant.
