Warren Holland Successfully Defends Driver in Rear-End Motor Vehicle Accident

A Philadelphia County jury entered a defense verdict in favor of a defendant who admittedly rear-ended the plaintiff’s motor vehicle causing moderate damage. The plaintiff alleged head, neck, and shoulder injuries as a result of the accident. She presented to the emergency room, underwent diagnostic testing, and treated for several months. Although the defendant admitted negligence in causing the accident, the jury determined that the defendant’s negligence was a not a factual cause of any injury to the plaintiff.
