Warren Holland Wins Philadelphia Jury Trial Where Plaintiff Alleged a Total Knee Replacement Due to the Accident

Warren Holland obtained a defense verdict for his client in a case involving a rear-end motor vehicle accident.  The plaintiff alleged immediate head, neck, back, and left knee pain after the accident and was transported from the scene by ambulance to the emergency room.  After completing several months of therapy, the plaintiff underwent total knee replacement surgery which her expert, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, testified was directly related to the accident.  Although Warren conceded that his client was negligent, he was able to convince the jury that the plaintiff’s alleged injuries were not caused by the accident.  The jury deliberated for less than fifteen minutes before returning a verdict in favor of Warren’s client.
