“I grew up in the era of early 2000s movies – so as cheesy as it sounds, Elle Woods was a role model of mine as a kid, jump-starting my interest in law. As I got older, I’ve gotten to see the impact of brilliant women in the legal field, and I am grateful for the ever-increasing exposure and empowerment of women in law, which pushed me to begin my own career.
The first thing that’s coming to mind as far as advice goes is that Nike campaign, do it anyways. Because people told me law school was hard (it was), that the bar would be tough (an understatement), that I would be underestimated. I did it anyways.”
