Jillian Seay is an Associate at GMR. She began working at the firm during her final semester of law school and quickly gained the ability to manage complex cases and adapt to challenges. Here is more about Jillian:
“Undergrad made me realize there were a lot of groups that were not being represented in our community, and they needed someone to fight for or defend them. I kind of had the rose-colored glasses on because it wasn’t something I physically saw (that’s what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere), so when I found out the extent of the issues, I wanted to do something about it.
My tip is to just smile. When things go wrong the best thing to do is to appear unphased, don’t let them know you’re flustered.”
