Women’s History Month – Kristy Groeschel

Kristy Groeschel is GMR’s Billing Coordinator. She has been with the firm for over 20 years and has helped shape the firm’s policies and procedures along the way. She has been an amazing asset to the firm and we are lucky to have her on our team. Here is more about Kristy’s story:

“My journey with Goldberg, Miller and Rubin started 28 years ago at the age of 16 when I was a Junior at St. Maria Goretti High School.  I started out as a file clerk working a few hours a day after school.  After graduating, I trained to be a legal assistant.  After a few years of being a legal assistant to several of the attorneys, I was offered a position to work in the billing department, which I felt suited me. Math was always my favorite subject.  After a few years as a billing assistant, I was promoted to billing coordinator, which is the position I hold currently.  In the past 28 years I have learned and grown with the firm and find myself to be a huge asset to GMR.

If I were to give any woman advice about joining the legal field, it would be that you don’t have to be an attorney to be successful.  All law firm positions hold value and help the firm grow.”
