GMR Partner Lauren Glynn won a Philadelphia intersectional collision claim in which her client made a left turn against traffic. Plaintiff, who was forty-three years old at the time, received medical treatment within three days of the accident and then underwent four months of chiropractic treatment and an orthopedic consultation. MRIs showed back and neck tears, and an EMG showed nerve damage. Plaintiff’s neurosurgical expert testified at trial that he would require over $180,000 in future medical treatment.
Lauren argued that this accident did not cause any serious impairment to Plaintiff. The jury agreed, and Judge Schulman entered a verdict in favor of Lauren’s client.
