Judge Jacqueline Allen Together with Lori Miller Hosted a Women of Tomorrow® Empowerment Event at City Hall

On January 23, 2020, Administrative Judge Jacqueline Allen hosted a Women of Tomorrow® Event at City Hall and invited powerful women in City Hall to discuss potential career opportunities to the young Women of Tomorrow. The day consisted of panel discussions from the Honorable Idee Fox, Chief of the Common Pleas Courtroom Operations Michelle Arlene, Court Administrative Officer of the Foreclosure Diversion Programs Lisa Jordan, Esq., Chief of the Philadelphia Adult Probation & Parole Department, Darlene V. Miller, Deputy Court Administrator of the Office of Court Reporters Danielle O’Connor, RPR, CRR and the Director of the Trial Division of the Court of Common Pleas Maria A. Pugliese. Issues discussed included how the young Women of Tomorrow could follow in the footsteps of these trailblazing women who are helping to run the Philadelphia Court system.

GMR’s Women’s Initiative was founded to provide support and foster the careers of female attorneys in the firm. That initiative has branched outward into the Philadelphia community as GMR’s female attorneys have formed a relationship with Women of Tomorrow®. Women of Tomorrow® is a nationwide program that engages highly accomplished professional women as mentors in a small group setting to work with “at-risk” high school students in grades 9-12.
