Amisha Patel is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Goldberg, Miller & Rubin, where she focuses her practice on defending healthcare professionals and institutions in medical malpractice litigation, as well as general liability matters.
Amisha earned her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in 2026. Her experience working on the plaintiff side brings an additional perspective to her defense practice. She also completed a legal internship with a Pittsburgh immigration law firm, where she assisted with asylum matters.
Throughout law school, Amisha demonstrated a commitment to legal scholarship, leadership, and community involvement. She served as a staff writer for JURIS, Duquesne’s legal news magazine, and held the position of Vice President of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Society, supporting the organization’s efforts to promote representation and engagement within the law school community.
Amisha graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Women’s Studies. As an undergraduate, she served as a Community Ambassador for the Alachua County Rape Crisis Center, connecting survivors with essential resources and support services while leading educational initiatives focused on sexual assault awareness and prevention. Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, Amisha brings strong communication skills and a diverse perspective to her legal practice.
Outside of the office, Amisha enjoys spending time at the beach with her family in her hometown of Fort Pierce, Florida, performing traditional Indian folk dances, baking, and learning to crochet.
