Tyler King is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Goldberg, Miller & Rubin, where he concentrates his practice on motor vehicle liability defense litigation throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He represents clients in a variety of cases, bringing strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills to his practice.
Prior to joining GMR, Tyler gained experience in a range of legal environments, including serving as a legal assistant at a large corporate law firm, working as a summer associate at a regional Philadelphia firm, and completing a legal externship at a leading cancer research hospital. These experiences provided him with exposure to different areas of the law and helped develop the practical skills and versatility he brings to his litigation practice.
Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2026, where he distinguished himself through his academic writing and involvement in student organizations. As a member of the Seattle University Law Review, he authored the published article, “Converting Buildings is Hard: Why Seattle’s Municipal Government Should Streamline Commercial-to-Residential Conversions,” examining the legal and regulatory challenges associated with urban redevelopment. He was also actively involved in OUTLaws and the Property and Tax Law Society.
Before attending law school, Tyler graduated from Florida State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. His earlier professional experience in customer-facing roles helped shape his interpersonal and communication skills, which continue to serve him in his legal career.
Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys playing tennis, exploring Philadelphia’s restaurant scene, and engaging with the local Jewish community.
