GMR Partner Matthew Moroney won a sideswipe accident trial in Camden County, New Jersey. The Plaintiff claimed the accident caused his carpal and cubital tunnel, for which he underwent surgical release procedures. GMR appealed the excessive $175,000 arbitration award.
At trial, Matt argued that the alleged injuries and subsequent need for surgery were not related to the accident. The jury deliberated for about an hour before rendering a defense verdict in Matt’s client’s favor.
