GMR Partner Matthew Moroney obtained a defense verdict in Ocean County, NJ, on a rear-end car accident. Although Plaintiff claimed permanent low back disc and nerve injuries, Matt successfully impeached Plaintiff and his expert on several issues. The jury found the witnesses lacked credibility and deliberated for about twenty minutes before rendering a defense verdict. At arbitration, Plaintiff received $47,500, which we appealed, leading to the eventual trial victory.
