The plaintiff’s medical expert was the orthopedic surgeon who performed the surgery. During cross-examination, Matt impeached the credibility of the surgeon. The surgeon’s medical license was on probation at the time of the procedure. Matt also presented evidence indicating that the surgeon fabricated his findings and the surgery was unnecessary.
