“I never intended on going to law school during college until I interned in federal law enforcement my junior and senior year. I became more interested in knowing why we have these rules, how the system works (criminal justice system initially) and what the journey for a person going through the system looks like.
As far as advice goes, intern everywhere and anywhere that will hire you! Hands on experience is not only a more enjoyable way to learn, but the experience will boost your resume more than general academic skills will. It will also allow you to create more professional relationships that can help guide you through your career.”
