During a two day trial in Philadelphia, Mr. Moroney successfully defended a case in which the plaintiff claimed injuries and medical expenses due to tripping and failing on a sidewalk raised in front of a house. Mr. Moroney pointed out discrepancies and contradictions in the plaintiff’s testimony regarding the alleged fall and how she found her attorney. Mr. Moroney further impeached the treating doctor on his relationship with the plaintiff’s attorney. Ultimately, the jury found for the defendant with a finding of no negligence.
