Goldberg, Miller & Rubin Caps Off 2019 with Tremendous Growth and the Addition of Three New Partners

Philadelphia PA, for immediate release (January 7, 2020):  In 2019, Goldberg, Miller and Rubin added 19 attorneys to its ranks, promoted 3 attorneys to its partnership and opened a Northern New Jersey office marking unprecedented growth for the firm, which will enter its 36th year of business in 2020.

This year, 19 new attorneys were added to the Goldberg, Miller and Rubin team of litigators to represent their clients in the areas of automobile negligence, personal injury protection, general and premises liability, workers’ compensation, products liability, insurance, and healthcare fraud. GMR now has 52 attorneys spread amongst its six offices in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.  “This type of growth is truly remarkable, especially in our practice areas,” said Lori Miller, the firms CEO.

On April 1, 2019, Goldberg, Miller & Rubin opened its second New Jersey office in Totowa, New Jersey in order to serve increasing demand within their New Jersey practice. The New Jersey expansion began with the hiring of partner Robert P. Stein early in the year. By November, the team grew to 6 attorneys and required a move to a larger space in Fairfield, New Jersey. In 2020, GMR’s growing New York City office will make another move to an even larger space in Midtown Manhattan to accommodate its own addition of 7 new attorneys.

Finally, a surprise announcement was made during the firm’s annual holiday party in December, promoting 3 attorneys, Jillian Vukson, Jeffrey Tenthoff and Lauren Glynn to Partnership. Each associate took different paths on their partner track. Ms. Vukson started with GMR following her completion of two judicial clerkships after her graduation from Villanova Law School. Mr. Tenthoff began his career at GMR as part of our law clerk program, which he began after earning his J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and service in the Peace Corps. Ms. Glynn began her career at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and joined GMR after garnering many years of trial experience. She was named partner one week before giving birth to her second child.

“We are incredibly proud of the growth we had during 2019,” said Miller.  “To add this many quality attorneys and three partners, including Lauren who was nine months pregnant at the time of the announcement, is incredibly meaningful to me as a working mother for all these years,” Miller continued.

GMR looks forward to a new decade and the continuance of our culture of teamwork, innovation and inclusivity.
