GMR Partner, Lauren Glynn, won a trial regarding an accident on North Providence Road in Media, Delaware County. Liability was not disputed as Defendant drifted into the shoulder where Plaintiff was legally parked. The issue was causation of damages.
Plaintiff was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy, multiple herniations of the neck and back, and traumatic sprains and strains. He went to the Emergency Room on the day of the accident, underwent therapy, and treated with a neurologist. The neurologist testified that Plaintiff would need extensive future medical treatment, including injections and surgery, totaling $61,500. Plaintiff also boarded approximately $3,000 in outstanding medical bills.
Lauren swayed the jury that the accident did not cause Plaintiff’s injuries, and they unanimously found in favor of Lauren’s client.
