GMR Partner Matt Moroney won a Richmond County (Staten Island), NY trial where the plaintiff claimed that the defendant’s vehicle side-swiped him while he was parked. A commercial business employed the defendant driver at the time of the alleged accident. Matt was able to impeach the credibility of the plaintiff on the circumstances of the alleged accident, which the defendant disputed.
The jury deliberated for about an hour before rendering a verdict that the defendants were not liable.
