A 12-person Philadelphia jury found in favor of GMR’s client in a rear end accident with a $2,000,000 initial demand. Prior to trial, Plaintiff refused to lower his demand below $350,000. Judge Colins recommended that the defense settle the case for $150,000. Significant offers were made prior to trial and the defense would have increased their offer if Plaintiff’s demand dropped below $100,000.
At trial, GMR attorney, Lauren Glynn admitted liability, but argued that Plaintiff was significantly over exaggerating his injuries. The jury deliberated for less than 30 minutes and found that Plaintiff’s injuries were not related to the accident.
