Kathryn Gingolaski is an associate in Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s Healthcare General liability and Medical Malpractice departments.
Kathryn earned her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in May 2026. During law school, she distinguished herself through her involvement on the Trial Team, competing in advocacy competitions in South Texas, Quinnipiac, and Pittsburgh. Her strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills earned her the Second-Best Advocate individual award at the Academy of Trial Lawyers competition in Pittsburgh in February 2026. Upon graduation, she was also recognized with the prestigious Shalom Moot Court Award for her excellence in oral advocacy.
Kathryn further strengthened her practical litigation experience through Duquesne’s Criminal Prosecution Program, where she represented the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office in court proceedings, presenting motions and delivering oral arguments. This experience provided her with valuable courtroom exposure and helped establish a strong foundation for her litigation practice.
Prior to law school, Kathryn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from Bloomsburg University. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, gaining firsthand experience in patient care and a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and challenges facing healthcare professionals. This background provides her with a valuable perspective in defending healthcare providers and medical institutions.
Outside of the office, Kathryn enjoys crocheting, watching horror movies, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.

On October 18, GMR Associate Kathryn Gingolaski served as a judge for the Empire High School Mock Trial Competition in Philadelphia. Drawing on her own trial team experience, Kathryn evaluated students’ courtroom performances and offered valuable feedback to help them sharpen their advocacy skills.
