Overview
Katie is an associate at Goldberg, Miller & Rubin’s Philadelphia office. Her practice primarily focuses on general liability, automobile accidents, and premises liability cases.
Katie graduated with her Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Thomas R Kline School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Drexel Law Review. While at Kline, Katie won the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in her Litigation Drafting and Contracts courses. She also served as a teaching assistant for first-year contracts courses.
While in law school, Katie was honored for her exceptional dedication to public service by being named the fourteenth recipient of the Carl “Tobey” Oxholm Summer Fellowship. She gained valuable experience through her internships with The City of Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Office, Duane Morris LLP, and as a faculty research fellow. As a faculty fellow, Katie researched ensuring diversity in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s arbitrator pools. In connection with this research, Katie was published in the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association Journal and co-authorized materials for the Practicing Law Institute.
Before law school, Katie attended Temple University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Political Science and English. While at Temple, Katie studied abroad in Rome, Italy, and served as a campus tour guide and orientation leader. Katie was a sister of Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority and a brother of Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity, where she held numerous leadership positions. Before returning to law school, she worked for several years in higher education at the University of Pennsylvania.
When she is not practicing, Katie enjoys seeing live music, attending Philadelphia sporting events, volunteering in her community, and trying new restaurants in the city.
